The Polish Fair Trade Coalition was set up on 16 March 2009 to promote the Fair Trade movement in Poland. Its members are non-government organizations that support Fairtrade. Concerned companies and individuals have a partner status.

The Coalition promotes Fair Trade through public events, media, campaigning resources and lobbying activities. The Coalition co-operates with Fairtrade Labelling Organisations International and World Fair Trade Organization to promote justice in trade.

 

Fairtrade.org.pl website was set up to bring together people involved in Fair Trade. It serves as a source of information and a platform for communication and discussion. Organisations and individuals may use it to get to know about upcoming events and to advertise their own projects, which have to do with Fair Trade. This should result in better connections among people involved in Fair Trade in Poland, facilitate cooperation and strengthen the movement. Fairtrade.org.pl will also provide articles and resources about Fair Trade for Polish readers. Accessible and comprehensive information is important to make people concerned about the issue.
